Newborn Session Pricing
(Studio, Home sessions and Outdoor)
You have the option of having your newborn and family captured in my natural light, beautiful cosy home studio, based in Waterlooville Hampshire, or at your home for a lifestyle based session. I also offer outdoor Newborn sessions between April and September, weather dependant. My newborn options include 15 beautifully edited digital images and 6 rustic images delicately wrapped for you to keep for a lifetime. Full details can be shown below.
When booking a newborn family session with me, you will also have an automatic discount of 20% for any future family session with me - this can include a milestone session (sitter, 1st birthday etc), or a general family session at any location of choice locally.
Studio
I am very blessed to have my own beautiful natural light home studio, where I welcome families to have their precious newborns captured, ideally within the first 21 days of being born. This is quite a relaxed session, including your family aswell as focusing on your new baby. My studio style is lifestyle, neutral with boho vibes. These are baby led sessions, with an occasional positional capture, however I mostly focus on the beautiful natural details and intimate connections between you all. I lead by your baby and family and there is plenty of time for both you and I to relax, feed baby, soothe baby, and I also capture these moments as part of your session.

*20% deposit required at time of booking. Remainder due approximately 7 days prior to session date.
*It is advisable to book a Newborn session following your 12/20 week scan, as I typically hold around 4 newborn sessions each month so I wouldn't like you to miss out!
Your Home
There is nothing quite so special than your family being captured in and around their home during those early newborn days, capturing special moments which seemingly last a minimal amount of time, but the memories being preserved for a lifetime. Capturing my families in the moment, cuddling, feeding, bathing, laughing, crying, sleeping and all those raw authentic moments. In my opinion, this is what natural and in the moment photography is all about.

Outdoor
Capturing your new bundle with your family outdoors is a very personal and memorable way to photograph you all. These are seasonal based and always weather dependant, as it is so important your baby is warm, comfortable and settled. I offer these sessions at a few beautiful settings which are discussed at booking.

FAQ
How should we dress for a studio shoot?
As with all my sessions, I provide a style guide following booking, along with a helpful tab on my website for inspo. I also have a small client wardrobe, which I am naturally growing in size over time. My cosy studio is neutral, fresh and boho themed. I generally suggest families come in plain neutral clothing, without logos/pictures. This then doesn't distract from the main subjects being you and your family connections. White, creams, tans, beige and other neutral coloured dresses/tops/rompers/chinos/ all compliment beautifully. As always, clients can contact me at any time if they need any additional help or ideas ahead of their session with me.
what if my baby keeps crying?
As my sessions are lifestyle based, I can assure you when baby cries, it just adds to the emotional story telling gallery I will be providing you with. We will judge the difference between a hungry/unsettled cry and manage the session accordingly, however I can assure you that all these moments just provide a beautiful variety of images as I capture 'in the moment' all around you.
who can I bring with me to a newborn shoot?
Whether it be at your home, outdoor or in my studio, your newborn session is for you and your family. I capture the connections between you all and focus on all the little details, such as holding babies hand/fingers, touching babies feet, skin to skin, settling baby over your shoulder, feeding etc.
