Complimenting your session

My main aim and focus for your session is to ensure you are comfortable, happy and things are as effortless and natural as possible. I would therefore never wish for any of my families to attend a session out of their comfort zone, however I will always offer suggestive colouring/clothing types to ensure your session is complimented beautifully with the setting and concept of your time with me.

With this in mind, I have put together a styling guide for your sessions. This may help you ahead of your time with me, however it is of course not vital this is followed, but it will certainly help make your captured moments even more beautiful.

For my studio newborn & family sessions, I always recommend coming neutral, without any harsh patterns/logos/pictures. Items such as knit wear/ two pieces/rompers for little ones look beautiful. I also have some lovely cotton and knitted over nappy pants for some nude/skin to skin moments too for children. These look beautiful on babies under 1 typically. In the images you can see the lovely neutral/nude/earthy/rust tones really suit the studio vibe, and it is encouraged to follow these types of colours. I do have a couple of dresses in the studio for ladies, which you are more than welcome to view and try on.

Neutral colours really blend beautifully and do usually work well with the majority of my locations. I always recommend clothing is logo/picture free, just so the eye isn't drawn to this over you and the setting. I will always answer any further questions so please message me at any time, I'll happily help as much as possible. Please be reassured though, aslong as my families are happy and comfortable that is always my main priority for your session, and I would hate for anyone to feel that they have to go out of their way and spend money on items of clothing they may not necessarily wear again, so please do ask for any help ahead of your session. I do have a small client wardrobe too, so if there is anything I can provide to compliment your session, I will certainly do so!

Festive mood

I will always check in with my families ahead of their session regarding clothing and outfit choices anyway, however this just provides a little bit more of an inside into colours which work well on shoot!
